Zai makes paying out to billers easy

Zai offers BPAY as a payout option so you can easily use a Zai wallet balance to pay a BPAY bill as part of your payment flow without funds needing to leave the Zai ecosystem.

To pay out via BPAY payment, you need:

• The BPAY Biller Code to identify the business you want to pay
• The Customer Reference Number (CRN) shown on the bill

Together, the Biller Code and CRN ensure your payout is routed to the correct biller and your biller knows what you’re paying for.

Biller Code

A BPAY Biller Code is a unique 4–6 digit number that identifies a business or organisation authorised to receive payments via the BPAY network.

Customer Reference Number (CRN)

A Customer Reference Number (CRN) is a unique reference that identifies to your biller who made the payment and for what.

Requirements to use BPAY as a Payout method

BPAY Payouts are available by default to all Zai platforms.
